OVERBLOOM
Unbreak your sight
Overbloom is an experimental shooter for two players. The game takes place in a canyon in California during the time of the superbloom. Players shoot water bubbles to plant flowers in their color all over the canyon and bring the canyon back to life. The goal is to claim more zones on the map than your opponent and conquer the screen within three minutes.

Positives
OVERBLOOM was a eye-catcher at our open studio event, where many people enjoyed playing and watching due to its captivating visuals and unique UI.
It was great to step out of my comfort zone, as I never thought I would work on a multiplayer/shooter game, but I wanted to challenge myself.
I appreciate the team's effort of creating a shooter game in a different and distinctive manner, with less focus on the killing aspect.
I also really enjoy the visuals and the environment of the game, with it’s location and theme of the superbloom,
What did I do
There were some initial challenges with Perforce, which led to uncertainty at the beginning. But over time, we learned how to handle it.
I worked on the procedural system, which unfortunately caused a fatal error during the final build, resulting in its exclusion from the event, which was disappointing. However, it works in the engine, and I still learned from the experience.
The game is currently a bit confusing regarding map positioning, and there are some uncertainties at the beginning, but most of these issues become clear after playing for the second time.
Many of these small issues will be fixed.
